Woodhouse I is located in Dania Beach, Florida. It is a private nonprofit facility for adults with physical and mental disabilities. This full-time residential home provides training and self-help for 15 adults with cerebral palsy. The staff members encourage independence through daily living skills, the development of Interpersonal relationships and community inclusion.

The residents of Woodhouse I carry a good deal of decision making power in the day-to-day operations of the facility through resident government. AIl of the residents attend various day programs They also attend many social events such as dances, picnics, movies and religious services. Funding for Woodhouse I IS supplied primarily through Medicaid, The United Way of Broward county and private donations
